A scar the growth of collagen beneath the skin that is formed as the result of wound healing; therefore, every cut or injury to the skin heals to form a scar.

Such as scars resulting from various types of burns.
Raised or pitted scars formed on the location of skin’s pimples.
Infectious and internal diseases

Based on appearance, scars are divided into three groups: raised scar, atrophic scars and flat scars.
